I'm no-one and you are everything

I'm no-one and you are everything

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Just words

I'm no-one and you are everything

I bleed everyday for people who have no concern for me. I work and and I work some more. I have accepted my place without a fight. Years ago. I would have stood my ground and fought for the right things.

Now old age had caught me and my life view had changed. Now children at my feet and bills to be paid.  I learn I'm parts of many people lives. Need a peaceful man willing to work and know concern.

I know life is hard work. Good people will work and work for the need of a home and to maintain a deceit life. I do not complain. I know today. I'm no-one and you are everything.

Everything is the gifts of love.
The smiles of child.
Making the dear wife happy and safe.
Finding time to spend with the children.

Life is a twisted journey. If we are lucky. We learn to appreciate the new day, good friends and laughter. We are here for a short time. We need to leave memories of someone who worked hard, loved hard and loved to laugh.

I'm no-one and you are everything. A wise person will understand. The love we leave behind is the wealth we have truly create.

How true this is. The love of family and friends is what is remembered in the end. We have to do what we can to make them remember when we are gone. Indeed, my friend, "life is a twisted journey" and every twist and turn gives us choices. It is the choices we make that determine the course of our lives. Well written, John. Lydi**

I agree, but we should.
Intelligent perspective and a very true one...everything is the love that we hold for those in our lives throughout the necessary journey of "living". Such importance is to be cherished along the way and a wise person does indeed realise that to give and love as such is all we are here for and meant to do or be...simply love :)

I agree dear Poet and thank you for reading
Coyote, I get what you are saying and I am in agreement on so much of your thought processes but, and here is my but, do not demean yourself in the process of giving. It is not necessary to take yourself apart to refunctionalize your position within the family. You are an established ___________? and you are willing to redefine yourself for the greater good of your family. I salute you!

Thank you. Two options in a long life. Live for yourself and no-one else. Or find reasons and purpos.. read more
This is pretty amazing. And not just the love we leave behind. Instead of focusing on the people who use us, we should focus on what we gain, the love of our loved ones. It is the only thing worth living for. And the only thing that keeps us going. One smile is worth a thousand days of Labour :D May you find happiness and strength.

very cruel heart touching truth..the person who try to keep everyone else happy ends up being loner..:(.i hope ..your poem is fictitious and not related to your life :/

Love is an absolute, I think. When the people you love die, the memory of their love is what remains.
One can argue that the love, that of a child for instance, is a continuum that existed way before
the child was born and long after they leave us. This is beautifully written. Beautifully conceived.
Beautifully thought out.

Thank you and I agree. I believe all things happen for a reason.
yes the love we leave behind is the best or all creations...the poems i write, the ceramic art i build, the pictures i paint are but a tiny taste of the love i leave to the universe when i leave...

In that second group of sentences (I bleed everyday...fought for the right things), I think it has a bit of a negative undertone, but what I like most about this is that you take those circumstances and make them a good thing. Make it a good thing through your family, friends and your own happiness.

"We need to leave memories of something who worked hard, loved hard and loved to laugh." I think this is my favorite line and that this is something that I, personally, strive for everyday. Many people today I think strive for making a large difference in the world, but you only really need to make a difference on those people that you love and the people that love you and will remember you for the right reason.

"The love we leave behind is the wealth we have truly created." I changed my mind, I think this is my favorite line.

I wanted to write something else, but now I have forgotten it. Regardless, this is a fantastic write, I applaud you.
