I cried and I dieA Poem by Coyote PoetryJust wordsI cried and I die. Once we held love over all things. I remember us. We disregarded the ending for the days and nights of love. I was your Hemingway and you were my Agnes. |

Agreed here with your words! I believe, there's always a woman or her love that drags a man straight to the apex of success. It's always woman, who caresses a man with her vulnerability, soothes his aches with sugary words, and fumbles the heart with much faithfulness... so i guess, your poetry is well depicting the persistence of woman here. Nicely penned. Your poetry are more like something that i kinda enjoy reading every time i visit this site.

Deep, heavenly sigh. Your "just words" gave me the chills to my toes. I envision an older gentleman flipping pages of a scrapbook retelling the tales of the battles, while his heart silently retells him the tales of the love that might have been. Beautiful and moving. Better to have loved and lost.....

How beautiful, love is not always meant to survive the shifting sands but each love blesses us with myriad lessons, the emotion and respect are tangible here, lovely :)

Just words. But the words that started the journey. So in a way, they're actually the most important words. Like this.

Powerfully emotional, John. Sad that you and Daniela could not make a lifetime out of it, but it seems she left a huge impact on your heart. Beautifully romantic. She is a pretty woman. So wonderful you have the photos and the memories. Lydi**

This was a lovely piece to read. The tone is warm and I love that Hemingway lingers through the unfolding of the piece. Your words fuse so well with the images. A fragrant romantic piece of writing.
