Pretty wishesA Poem by Coyote PoetryJust words.I knew love once. I held love once, I remember your perfect face. I ran away from you once and today. I wait for no-one. ------------------------------ Johnnie, Johnnie. she whispered. What did you do? I love you and you are me leaving for the damn wars. War don't care about you and I do. ------------------------------------ Paper, pen and the memory. You were so beautiful. We had the Spring and we had the Summer. I left and I came home in the late Winter and you and I. Became the sleeping moon and the raising sun. Never to met as lovers again. Coyote © 2018 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
