Waiting for Spring

                           Spring Equinox

Winter cold touch was needed. Needed frost for the apples, vegetables to grow strong in Michigan.

Some kisses of Spring tempting us,

warmer days, the snow finally disappearing and the warm sun on my face.

Spring Equinox is near and the grandchildren are yearning for the lakes, the parks and the warmer days.

The Goddess of Spring is resting today,

she is dreaming of the dancing flowers and the dancing children celebrating the days of Spring.

The kind goddess of Spring will have patience,

soon she shall caress the earth, the sea, the valleys and the mountains with the touch of rebirth.

Spring Equinox, the celebration of new life and for us. To create new memories and to dance with the grandchildren by the lake.
