Did I tell you?

Did I tell you?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Another poem published somewhere in the old days.

"
                          Did I tell you?

In your eyes,
I'm everything.
I am the sun,
I am the moon,
I am the soft wind that cools the night.

I feel I could do anything for you.
When those eyes shine for me.
They make be believe in sweet dreams,
those dark brown eyes make me believe love can be true.

Once my life was a circle of confusion,
so many errors made,
but now I am filled with joy with you near.

You make me feel wanted, safe and complete.

I took so many road of discontentment
and now with the softness of your hand in my hand.
I know I am loved.

You gentle and kind smile brought joy and peace to a
heart in chaos.

Your love words,
make me braver and I know now.
Love is the only softness in a man's life,
he will remember.

Coyote, another remarkably touching poem, laced with sincerity and humility. I'm a Randy Travis fan and I remember watching that performance. You captured the mood and truth in the lyrics. This is a tribute to your love, the one who made you a better man. I admire the simple yet striking nature of your poetry.

i've made mistakes, many....in relationships...and i had women who looked at me with these same eyes.
and i am still pondering what i did to make those looks go away...but i know i was at least partially at fault...
takes two...

I agree Jacob. Taker two to tango and one to give-up. Thank you for reading and the comment.

You're welcome, Coyote.
Yes, love can change everything. It does make a difference. Almost everyone, to some extent, is touched by it. Some wonderful wisdom written eloquently here.
