The fray- part two- DreamsA Poem by Coyote PoetryBeen dreaming poetry. A poem for the book. The island.
The fray- You.
He remembers a warm Summer day, he remembered her. She was warm and so kind. Dearest Sheena, had the prettiest eyes of green. A barefoot Scottish beauty who made the sun brighter, the days easier and life sweeter. She told him often, seeking the the fray. A dangerous dance. Once she was his dreams, a mystery, a wonder and a kind voice. She was a willing dancer when the sky was clear and the wine was tasty. She loved the Germany small lake in the city, she was his shoeless beauty, who loved the 6 am walks and to feel the coldness of the sea against her feet. They would lay in the bed till noon and she would tell him great stories of myth and tale. He loved the softness of her voice, her Scottish accent. he told her often. I need to hear your voice, I need to allow my mind and heart, to free-fall into your beautiful face and your lullabies. I have not lived yet. My stories are being born. I will write about the fray. I will write about our place, our place of safeness. I will seek in dreams. The fray where I found you. And I can fall into your arms forever and a day. Coyote
