As I read this, belatedly, May is now upon us. The promises of April are now the fruition found in May. All that you hope for, are here, in abundance. The daffodils, came early, as they do, but now the azaleas, with a profusion of colors light up the side of the house. I think Spring is my favorite month.
Take care - Dave

The month of April is full of sighs... when we venture
out to explore the wee buds of hope and renewal.
Now we can play in May with sunny warm winds and
listen to the rain when flowers bloom... lovely poetry.

Such a lovely write of hope and joys of renewal and positivity :) I like that you respect April despite its unpredictability. For that is the nature of nature... is it not? Unpredictable creativity and birth. Finding comfort and growth in the collision of confusions. I have also admired the beauty of the blossom trees over here, too. We have April showers amongst the sunshine and it disrupts everyone's plans, but as Bob Marley says - some people feel the rain, others just get wet. I enjoyed this very much. Laura.

I despise winter. For me it is barren, freezing and depressing with its lack of color.
Spring always gives me a sense of love hope and rejuvenates my souls with it’s beautiful colors unfolding.
I love the scenes you have painted in this poem about the tulips blooming and the apple blossoms blossoming. Life in nature is being born again!!

Oh I know winter is need for something; I simply need to move south lol
I am admiring your stupendous efforts in poetry for the month of April. A poem a day has to be applauded. I love how you describe April as a fickle lover. That is exactly what she is. Gentle one minute and spiteful the next. Changing seasons, April is goodbye to winter and welcome to spring. Wonderful poetry. Love this poem.

Thank you dear Chris. We welcome April and she can trick us. Hello from Michigan.
well done John! I admire your commitment to the month of Poetry ... I could never write a poem a day .. I would be a mess trying to. :))))))))))))) you describe the month of "confusion" to a tee. Really am warmed by you bringing the children into the many scenes your words inspire in me. One thing age blesses us with, if we a lucky, is that we slow down and have the time to watch as the Earth unfolds moment by moment once awakened from Winter's deep. The forest surrounding my little cabin is almost woven tight. Soon I will only be able to see 20 maybe 30 feet into her ... this is my first read this morning and you filled me ol' heart with gladness and gratitude. Can't wait for the coming sunrise! :)

I’m now listening to their dangling conversation song poem one of my faves
I like your analogy of fickle April to us humans, who can also be very fickle at times. But, more than that, I like you imagery and words describing a kind of re-birth of nature becoming "A garden of beauty"...and not only the green, but in addition, the birds and their sweet songs...we await May with all its warmth.
Lovely!!!
Best, B.
