May-day poetry twenty-eight.

                          Love behold, love be bold....

Love behold, love be bold. I told the ginger hair beauty dancing with me on the Texas dance hall dancefloor. The blue moon is above us and I love your wild hazel eyes. They are like a deep forest of majestic green that make me believe. Love is alive and true.

She blushed and her rosy cheeks I kissed and I told her. I have admired you since you told me. Please dark poet, write me a lullaby where you and I can paint a canvas of perfect place. A place where we can lay nude and brave. You can make me smile and I will make you smile too. 

She  held me tightly and she whispered. The great storm is keeping us from the sea and we can find a safe cottage near the ocean. I will paint love-words on your skin and we can drink the Johnnie walker. Sing to the great sea, maybe dance in the warm rain?

I told her, the half moon is above us. The liar's moon. We don't need promises. The purest words are never spoken. They are honored by the kindest actions and deeds. Those who remember love, allowed love to expand and multiply. Become a miracle and a blessing where love will arise above the sadness.

I kissed her face and lips. I whispered to her.  My dearest love, you made the quiet and sleeping poet want to write a lullaby

of forever. Your face is the last face I need to see in the midnight hours and the first face, I need to see when the sun passes the moon at dawn. I love you my dearest love.

She smiled and she whispered to me. I love you more.
