Drinking alone..A Poem by Coyote PoetryMay poetry number two...Drinking alone... Once in Bosnia, A beautiful Gypsy lady told me. Love isn't your strength. You are cold hearted b*****d and you will die alone if you don't learn. You don't walk alone. Now I am a old man and I know. You decide if you die alone or with love near. The gods of life took me to the proper place and I learn. We are what we leave behind. Now the old man swim in things lost and gains. Once a man who wanted everything, now a man who learned. He was given enough. Tonight I drink alone and I miss no-one. Maybe I reached my final destination. I have learn. We are what we leave behind. I have love near and I know. I need my grandchildren voices, I need. Maybe dead man had learn. Life was more than him. I am drinking alone and I pray I can overcome my sins, my greed. I ain't dead yet and I will stand-up and be wiser and stronger. I have learned life is hard and we must become harder. Lord of life and death. I need one more day. Maybe I will be kinder, maybe I will know what love is? Coyote
