Naked...

Naked...

Naked.
(August poetry number nineteen.)
1- Naked we can be in the midnight hours,
naked are we and
maybe we wear a veil over our face,
a mask?
When do we show our real face?
When do we bare our real skin, openly and freely?
Few shall see who we are,
few will hear our honest words.
It is sad, we forget our real face and
our real voice had become quiet.
Maybe we are just, skin and bones?
Seeking a place to rest and we can become real again.

This makes one think so deeply. Do we ever truly bare ourselves to others so willingly like we'd like to believe we do at times? is it a mask to hide from the possible judgement from others? This says so much with such simplicity. Beautiful!
