Loves on the rocks..

Tonight me and Neil Diamond are hanging out together. I am writing my whiskey poetry tonight. Lately I needed the whiskey. Old wars, 500 Army shots and my sleeping mind need a wake-up call.  I am retired now and I need to concentrate on my writing. 30 stories and books, 2600 poems are laying dead and sleeping.

I need to remember my old dreams. I needs to remember my immortal loves and I need to remember life is more than me. I have children and I have grandchildren, that need me.

Once I believe. I was someone and tonight I believe I danced a foolish dance for rich men and forgetful government. I gave everything away to a******s.

I have learn to love the silence, I have learn to love the whiskey.

Tonight me and Neil Diamond are hanging out. I need me, Lana Del Rey and Neil Diamond to go on a Highway 40 road trip. Just seeking a private place to yell and scream. F**k you life. Just f**k you.

Tonight I am listening to Neil Diamond, Love on the rocks. "First they tell you they love you and the love is forgotten."  i am so tire my friends.

A new year is coming. 2023 and the world is still s**t. I fear for my grandchildren. What did I leave them?

I adore the whiskey poetry. My mind and heart bleed the truth.  We need the truth.

We must protect our grandkids from this chaotic and dangerous world…..what is their future…we worry a lot….drink whiskey so we can remove ourselves from reality….but we must be awake and sharp so we can still write our poetry…..we can only hope that those who should be prosecuted are…let’s hope 2023 gives us hope….
