Wine kisses, midnight bath.A Poem by Coyote PoetryFinally a new poem.Wine kisses , midnight bath. 1- You and I, we sought quiet nights. We shared wine kisses and you loved your midnight bath. I told you often. I love you my German beauty, please dear Brigette. Keep the world away from us. 2- I would read to you my poetry for you dear Brigette. You would relax in the warm water in the large tub. I would wash your hair and kiss your neck and lips. In your eyes, I could see your happiness. Today I wish to return to when we knew happiness. I would never release you my beautiful Brigette. I didn’t know. We held paradise, innocence and joy. I would never found again. 3- She came to me when I was dead to all things. She took me to her home and she wouldn’t let me die. She gave me gentle kisses and she held me like a baby. She sang German love songs to me and she told me. I will keep you safe Johnnie. I fell into her words, I fell into her eyes. I told her. I am broken and she whispered to me. All of us are broken. We need to learn to live again, we need to learn to love again. I am here for you dear Johnnie and I have adored you for many years. I will save you and you will save me. Dancing Coyote © 2024 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
