Thank you for the kindness..A Poem by Coyote PoetryApril is poetry month. This is new poem number twenty-eight.Thank you for the kindness of love.. Cecelia was a Monterey beauty. More beautiful than the flowers that decorated the walkway by the pier. She was well-spoken, she wore colorful Summer dresses and she could read the ancient poets aloud from memory. When I kiss her face, when I kissed her long flowing hair. I could smell the fragrant of the Summer flowers. She was very kind to me. She listen to me, she held my hands and she allowed me to steal kisses. I would buy her new plants to plant in her garden. She would make coffee and we would talk/listen to Leonard Cohen songs. I helped her plant some red and white roses and she told me. Johnnie, I do adore you. You have became part of my garden. Coyote © 2025 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
