'Two Brothers'
Coyote Poetry,
I appreciate the openness and raw truth of the experience within the words of this poem. So many within this world carry the memory of those loved and known as well as acquaintances which left too soon. Death does not ask permission. We may think we are ready until we are not. It was a sad write but there was a comfort within it at the same time.
Bless you,
Kathy

Yes and thank you for your honest writing. open and raw which is what life can be.
Such a sad, sad poem and what's more - an honest one, told in beautiful language.
We all have regrets in life about things we've not done or have done, words we've said or not .. guess we have to learn how to step out of our own bubbles.
This is a heartbreaking story. Suicide is so familiar to us these days as it brings a shroud of sorrow with it, and this poem depicts this beautifully.
Heart wrenching, and quite a realists poem. An outlook on life so blatent and brash, it probably scares Mormons, but it inspires poets. Great piece Coyote
Coyote, my dear friend, you are just one lovely person you know that. You have this true and sincere spirit that you just don't see in everyone. Many others are always concerned about themselves, what do they get out of a situation, instead of just appreciating the moments that life offers to us. You are a selfless soul dear man, never change okay buddy. Your words always inspire, as do you.
Very touching and emotional. I can feel your pain and regrets while reading this---actually, my own pain and regrets are also stirred up, again, inside me as I read your poem and am reminded of my past. Powerful message conveyed of a lesson to learn about life. Thanks for sharing another one of your classic writings.
Nice one
My fav. line is the last
"Like all fools we become sorry when the story ends."
Well since you've become better then you're not a fool
Nice piece
Peace!
