Your walls to break I failed. A love letter you never mailed. A song I sang left unheard. You're no lover, nor friend. You lived, I died. You won, I tried.

I love the opening image, and the final four stanzas have just enough symmetry--not too little, not too much-- to give the poem a really nice close
