Deity to Mind Totem Chapter 1: Living Room Ceremony

This cuts to 21 years after the prologue.

This chapter cuts to 21 years after the prologue. Here it is revealed the Hydrocephalus brother's name is Boris, The harlequin ichthyosis brother is Ben and last but not least the physically normal baby is Bela. The story is now from Bela's point of view.

I wake up to piercing pains on my back. I could feel my flesh getting pulled. It appeared that I've been hooked down to the floor. I was also completely naked and the room I was in was completely silhouette. I was somehow calm like I couldn't sense anything. I was all emotionally numb. Soon, five girls I've had known from past relationships came from out of the shadows. They were also naked but they were free. Each one took off a limb of mine and simply walked away with them. The last girl finally stole my head and I was nothing but a limbless and headless torso. Soon, a turtle's head and legs came out of my torso. It's almost exactly as if my torso was acting as the turtle's shell. The turtle slowly walks away. I suddenly wake up in a bath of sweat and realize that it was all just a dream. I now realize the anxiety that I brought onto the wolf deity.

I lay in bed for a while trying to find symbolism in the dream until I get a knock at my door. I sense negative energy, so I walk towards the door with caution and slowly open the door. Low and behold, it was my two brothers, Ben and Boris. Ben still has dry, grotesque skin and Boris is still a water head and he's officially mentally challenged. The lights were off in the hall way and Ben and Boris were completely silent. I just followed them through out the house. Everywhere was dark and enigmatic. We noticed the Living Room light was on, so our definite instincts was to go there. We all entered at the same time and everyone in there screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". It was our 21st. The whole family was there. Our mother Elsa, our father Lon, our little sister Evelyn, our grandpa Rhondo, and my pet pig Morty.

"Okay boys, lets get to moving quick as this is a special day" mom said with over glee as she lined all three of us in a row. Dad got up from his chair and walked close towards and then stood saying with a forced smile on his face "Okay guys, as part of the Rains family tradition, all three of you must tell us your deepest wishes". Dad was a man who been through a lot during the great war. He had a mechanical right arm and a cybernetic eyeball.

"Boris, since you came out first, you can go first" mom announced. With Boris' slow mind, he was stuttering and mumbling to try to get something out. "Uh... um... Yeah.... I think my biggest wish is to live at Lenny's Burger Palace, so I can eat all the burgers and uh... fries and chicken nuggets as I want to" Boris finally said. Everyone laughed except for me. I was so confused. "That's my boy, Boris" my grotesquely obese grandfather shouted. I then began to voice what I thought about this. "Am I the only one here who's not brainwashed" I asked everyone. "Lenny's Burger Palace's food will give you intestinal cancer and I think there's a whole conspiracy that they might be Satanic pedophiles" I told my family. "Oh please, Bela" mom said with stress. Dad got really angry and said "Bela, don't you start this crazy s**t with us today" as he pointed his finger at me. He went on by saying "Today is supposed to be a happy day, so do not ruin it". Suddenly Evelyn began to talk. "I don't blame Bela, eating their nuggets is the same same as eating breast implants" she said with a snarky smirk on her face. It made me chuckle. She was only 15 years old and way smarter then the other family members it seemed.

"Ben" mom shouted. "You're next" she told him. Ben lifted his head up with pride and put on a smile that made me sense that what he was going to spout out something that was going to disgust me. "Well, if I wasn't so sickening to look at then I'd really like to go with pop star chick Tiffany $tarbright, she's hot as Hell" Ben announced. I once again voiced my opinion on this. "Ben, you realize that she's most likely an inhuman creature that takes on human appearance and she most likely wants your a*s dead". Grandpa Rhonda laughed and said "Here we go again" as mother sighed a great deal. "Bela, sometimes I wonder if mom and dad just simply adopted you a funny farm" Ben told me with a cynical look on his face. Boris budded in by saying "Ben might be ugly but he's way more smarter than you". Evelyn giggled and said "Boris, you should work on your grammar skills before you try to side with someone". Dad couldn't handle his frustration anymore and screamed "Bela, you better keep your loony opinions to your self or I'll sow your f*****g mouth shut because you keep starting crap. "Lon, just chill" said mom trying to calm him down.

"Bela, go right ahead" mom announced. I've been waiting for this moment and there I went. "I really wish I could physically transform into my spirit animal of the wolf so I can take on this corrupted world" I said as I really got into it. I noticed Ben face palmed but I went on by saying "People need to realize that". I was cut off by grandpa saying "Let's go to that damn kitchen, I'm starving. Everyone headed towards the kitchen without hesitation. I was surrounded by my family 24/7 but I still felt so alone in the world.
