But sometimes I wonder

do they really believe

understand

what they are saying

Ive loved and loved

and recieved little

in return

Ive walked my life

alone

I was broken

and then 

ignored

No one

ever 

took an interest 

in me

I had no authority figure

No one

I could trust

No one

ever

bothered

to care

to make an effort

Alone

I have loved 

many

But at the end

of every day

I remain

Alone

I feel

Broken

worthless

tired

I love

I give

I am kind

generous

I sacrifice

for others

All these things

I can do

for others

but not 

for myself

no one

has ever 

bothered

to show me

how
