A Poem by Joshua Labonte
"

I had a hard time writing this one. For some odd reason I just couldn't get anything to really flow. It also didn't help that my mind is kind of fumbling over itself thinking about things.

"

Ive been given something ever so amazing

Thats been making my heart feel ever so blazing

From dawn to dusk feeling's are shown like a work of art

I glance down at my very own hands to find nothing but your loving heart

This love continuing to rise and grow like a blooming flower

Filling me with with affection, love as some form of power

But there is also a sad chapter to this tale

A fire now frozen leaving my skin to turn sickly pale

I long for your embrace and you in mine

Distant from eachother like a punishment from the divine

A fountain of tears being held back by weary eyes

That get stronger and stronger everytime we say our goodbyes

Right before I break down and start to scream and shout

But in that moment a glimpse, a small angel comes to my ear, banishing any doubt

The memory of your whisper, your gentle breath

Soft, yet violently putting the tears to death

I know that our love will always contiue to persist

When time drags on just imagne you in my arms, as the last time we kissed

I will wait for aslong as we need to even if it takes forever

Promise me you will try, and with that I know our love with last through this endeavour
