"Is It Coming?"

Old eight grade poem.

It's out there, I know it,

it just may not show it.

I just sit there, waiting on,

Waiting for a brighter dawn,

Should I wait? Should I stay?

Will it come anyway?

Or must I act,

Seal the pact.

It's not coming on it's own,

If I stand still I'll be alone.
