LITTLE TEXAN
A Little Texan that’s hard to forget
Not a minute on the floor do I ever regret.
But who ever said I ever wanted to.
Forget those dance steps that you do.
We glide around the dance floor with smiles on our faces.
People all around wishing they could take our places.
Longing for once to dance in that fashion
Not knowing that dancing like that takes our passion.
In slow dance and waltzes, dreams are in motion
Dancing side-to-side like waves in the ocean.
We dance to exhaustion cus we’re feeling no pain.
With my Little Texan I’d dance in the rain.
As I gaze upon the smile of this Little Texan’s glare.
It brings out my smile because I put hers there.
We start to laugh since we both know the reason
Why were so happy together throughout the season.
Dancing so close we no longer count our feet
Just feel the rhythm of our hearts and guitar beat.
We Dance to the music that the song is playing
Yet it’s the flow of our bodies that people are staring
The polka’s the dance we both do enjoy
Using the whole dance floor as if were a toy
With a Little Texan in my arms to behold
I would dance all night long in a heart’s blindfold
Because it’s not what I see that matters the most to me
It’s the feel I get that my Little Texan lets me be.
