Inferno RedA Poem by Cherrie L Billthe new dodge challengerSoft kitten like purr vibrates beneath her feet. Sleek sides done in inferno red are trimmed in chrome. In park she whispers I’m fast, but once she’s opened up hear her scream with all 470 horses tuned tight. From a sited position smoke puffs across her path as tires squeal from a full 360. Tires heated red and adrenaline thin she stomps the pedal and takes to high gear corners firmly fitted she eats up the track. Windows down hair stirred wild, she eases to the approaching light. Now windows go up, hair back in a bun and easy does it all the way home. © 2012 Cherrie L BillFeatured Review
