A Sundog

A Sundog

A Poem by Cherrie
"

a windy day

"

Laments of air rave through the leaves, as the grasses and the wind share a moment most blended the graceful reeds gather and stride like a carousel horse spinning on its axes.  This powerful breeze breaks into the lea cascading into the waters breaking white with shadows of gray. Surges of light, peer from the clouds tickling the waters adding depth to her sounds. Unmovable rocks disburse the peaks sending them flowing into creases deep. The rhythm of the tide sets beat to my heart and the lacing of light reveals a sundog.

I love the sound of wind and waves crashing on the rocks. They can both be so soothing. Beautiful writing.

This is one of those inspirational pieces. Every word matched perfectly with every event and feeling. This piece is as close as anyone will ever come without being there. Pure cream.
