Little BirdA Poem by Cherrie L Billnatures community“Feed me,” says the little bird and the passing sparrow snubs her nose as she flicks a rock to eat a grub. “Feed me,” says the little bird to a Blue Jay eating a berry of black. He gulps it down and ruffles his back. “Feed me,” he cries “My tummy aches so,” but the Cardinal red, does not slow, as a worm he pulls from its hole and carries back to his nest. Now all the birds have gone away, as the little chick stops from play. With one leap a bug is caught and that my friend is how our little bird is taught. © 2016 Cherrie L BillReviews
