A PromiseA Poem by Cherrie L Billan evening walk among the moon and starsFull moon shining clear raises my brow as it climbs the endless night. I long to rest beneath its glow as the barred owl sings and feel the caressing wind dance at my feet. I’ve stood too long in the night, Now I’m chilled down to my soul And realize I’m here alone. Till I see my one true love, his smile warms me true And like a magnet born to dance to each other, we move. Arms full of strength now wrap me in warmth Whispering lips tickle my ear with a promise so soft And the orchestrated night plays on. © 2018 Cherrie L BillReviews
