The man relaxes his chin then concentrates on the road.
"So tell me this, why do you insist on answering my questions with a question?"

A fanning smirk crests her face as she replies, "how else would I answer your question?"

This actually put a smile on my face.
Question questioning questions with answers quietly hiding somewhere unknown deep in the mind or may have even escaped through the mind window leaving the mouth with nothing to say than retaliating the question asked.

That's a moment of controversy.

But
While standing on the gallows a man and his horse (that he's sitting on) is funny. Sifting the humor from tragedy takes timing, and delivery.
A fine line separates the two, and though I think myself funny I struggle with harvesting it on paper.
