Morning Laughter

Morning dew softly glistens
Barefoot prints lead a path
Morning songbird sweetly listens
to her mate declare his task.
Gentle zephyr sways the reed
As morning clouds scatter,
And I with you relish in morning laughter.

This is one of the finest romantic poems I've read in quite a while! Love it! I love the way your imagery & the way your word choices sound -- it reflects the scene that's being described, flowing, graceful, fresh! I love how "laughter" isn't the logical conclusion to such a morning scene (for many people) but I always wake up ready to laugh! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

you know I think that is how real life is, you never react like the script says. Matt and I have our unique language. Sometimes Peyton our granddaughter will say, "I have no idea what you two are saying," My husband will give her a wink. As the kid shakes her head at the dinosaurs. :)

sure needed this...lots going on here that is not good...with the college trying to do hybrid, and face to face classes and the dangers we will be facing as teachers...unnecessary...

Yes work is wild also, a crazy combo of remote work and business like usual (sorta, kind of, almost anyway). Any who I'm glad you enjoyed the morning stroll amongst the dew. :)
