I like that you can either read this as two separate things or words spoken mingled with inner dialogue.

Ok this was chilling indeed Cherrie. Not sure I would like to meet the protagonist alone in a dark place. The shading was sort of effective and interesting.

LOVE! This is soooo creative! I love the snarky way the faded sentiments are like the REAL thoughts or feelings we try to keep hidden. This is SUCH an inventive way to show instead of tell.
