The stillness of night covers the entire place.

The disturbance of sound slight.

..whooshing... of hangers.

...snap... of a case.

...t,t t,t... Heels on wood

Creeeak-ca-thud...screen door opens and slams)

Then silence is reclaimed as a slight figure clings to the
shadowed door frame.

...tap...
... tap .. heels down steps.

Then bare feet race to the car.

Zipppp (purse unzipped)

Clink-clink (keys removed)

Click-Pop ( door unlicked)

muted ...swish...(silk across leather)

Kreak-clunk...( door closes)
Ca- v-rommmmm... (old car starts)

Click...(seat belt snapped)

Blink-blink - blink... ( blinker on)

pop... (car backfires)
..ba-ping... headlights shine.

Zommmmm... (driver free)

I'll just do another review since your thing, became something, that makes my brain ring in the cleansing spring. The notes are invaluable. Almost made the poem soluble. But I've got to admit my mind had a fit because really it's discombobulable. As it was at first made my imagination burst and I think I loved it the worst. Then the explanation released the suspension of what I now realize is a lot of fun!

It was silly fun. On the way home from football games (when the kids were in school)we would listen to an old 📻 radioshow mystery. They are too great. You'll have to find one on YouTube.

I've listened to them. Love 'em! I even liked stuff like Paul Harvey if you remember that. G'day! But my favorite by far is Praire Home Companion. I love hearing the old commercials too. Had some Dark Shadows tapes. I've been thinking about rewriting unusual things into poetry like movies or like you did here, a radio show. Good idea. I think I would have preferred you left the sound effects separate and the rewrite below it or in notes. Or even better, let people struggle for awhile then your next post is the rewrite.

I'm not convinced this is your car. Or it might be the getting to the car. Down the stairs. Keys. Doors. Then the car. That's what I'm thinking. What a novel idea. Hmmmm.

I watched a film last night that was amazing. It was like all of our poetry brought to life. Especially yours. A lot of the story was about writing a story and as it went the images and storylines were about things we've been writing these last few months. The Fountain. With Hugh Jackman and Ellen Burstyn. I kept thinking about your poetry the whole time. It was uncanny. If you guys watch movies much check it out.
