Clothed In Grace

my granny

Clothed in grace she gently moves.

 Peace and love lace her shoes.

Heaven’s favor guides her steps,

And that same nectar is her scent.

Her smile is gentle and her eyes the same.

And her prayers are humble as she makes her claim.

This is the complete opposite in intent of a poem I've just read. This one is flowing like shallow clear water and warm like the thoughts of love. Perhaps remembering your Granny. If so she is nothing like my Nan although I loved her just as much.

I wish I was more like my Grandma. She was so many things to me.
She gave me a love of storytelling. Her voice could carry you away. To that magical place found between the pages of a 📖 book. That I long to create.
