Who KnewA Poem by Cherrie
The river called for me to see.
To dip my toes into its stream, and in my kayak I joined the flow. To fight the current as I go. The Sun rose high and called a cloud, so, I stayed all the while. Roaring cicadas filled the air and Winters fury was no where near. With burning skin still I smiled and with a renewed purpose I logged each mile. © 2024 CherrieReviews
