Who Knew

Who Knew

A Poem by Cherrie

The river called for me to see.
To dip my toes into its stream,
and in my kayak I joined the flow.
To fight the current as I go.

The Sun rose high and called a cloud, so, I stayed all the while.

Roaring cicadas filled the air and Winters fury was no where near. With burning skin still I smiled and with a renewed purpose I logged each mile.

a stunning uplifting poem...one that promises good things to come...breathing fresh air and joining nature in a wondrous kayak trip down a flowing, with cicadas humming along.....

Dear Cherry… I have been in the Rapids on White Water… and know the Thrill of Splashing through… in a Grumman Canoe… softly, Pat

Thank you for enjoying the journey with me.
Sounds like it would be a lovely day. nature seems one of the best ways to remember just how small we are. Your words are always big though...nicely done.
