an embrace

gentle breeze tousled hair
twilight deepening to a midnight plum
minutes escaping as lovers coo
embrace tightening as heads begin to swoon
sun is rising eyes twinkle bright
lovers passion has consumed the night

You so tenderly speak words that carry lovers through the depth of night's midnight plum. Beautifully vibrant and alive.
