Writer's Ride

This is a free verse poem about one part of a writer's struggle.

You wish to ride coat-tails

a dreamless leech

taking life from artists

wicked designers

great imaginators.

Like a spider spinning dreams

you spit falsehood

worldwide is your web.

Yet we are poetically not average

filled with demons

we are but writer's

dark riders

real horseman.

if i don't consider this marvelous art of yous, then it'd be a very tremendous shame not on me but on the diversity of all writerslife. very fair, & fine work. you capture the mortage of "WRITER'S RIDE" here in afew simplistic, perhaps, so captivating words. liked it!
