Falling Apart

Falling Apart

A Poem by snapstache
"

this is why i wanna be a physchiatrist :)

"

Your mind slips away

More often now than ever before

As you finally go insane

Your daughter already called

And they're coming to get you

Tomorrow

Or maybe today

You'll never know.

The insanity eats you away

You've almost decomposed completely

The walls are suddenly stained red

With the blood that masked his face

On that cold December day.

Your feet talk to you

The door is your only friend.

You scream at your plate

When you don't want to eat

You scream at night

When the "monsters" feast

You're going crazy

It gets worse everyday

As you slowly fall apart.

...i totally understand what this is saying. i can really relate to the feeling that you are going insane. The flow wasn't too great with this poem, but that actually sort of adds to the feeling of insanity. Terrific job.

This is a very compelling piece. I has a "on the edge of your seat" feeling through the whole thing. Great job. :)
