The Fray

this happened to a girl i knew..

Joey throws a punch

A Jenny's delicate face

She takes the hit with dignity

As her heart starts to race.

 

Joey pushes Jenny

Onto the dirty ground

Her face now stained with blood and mud

No one makes a sound.

 

Jenny scrambles to her feet

As Joey leaves his mark

With a cigarette burn

On her left cheek.

 

Joey wears a smile

As her nose starts to bleed

He says, "Come on, guys

It's time to leave".

 

No one ever

Forgot that day

The day that Jenny

Drifted away.

i just came up with this right now so idk how good it is.

I thought it was very emotional and deep.
It was good, but i have to agree with -LookWithin- for most parts.

I like this, but I think It would be better if you watched out for the rhyming, and made the stanzas have the rhyme, but that is just my opinion. I love the poem though, great Write!(:
