This love.

I came up with it while i was on the potty.

This love was big enough for the both of us

open and vast like the sky was

the day i learned to fly.

 

This love we had wasnt strong enough

Cold, dark like the cloud was

The day i fell from the sky.

The format is rather the skeleton (ok, i scared myself. that's tha first time i use that word in reviews) of the poem. The flow was good, but referencing to my pet peeves, you could choose another word for "sky", considerng it's the last word...

I like this... but the second line in the second verse is too long for the rhythm, because the second line in the first verse is so short... does that make sense? I like the sentiment though, and like the rhyme from verse to verse rather than line to line. Like the idea that love lifts you so high but then you can fall so easily. Nice.
