In the quiet of the night
I hear your heart beating.
Warm and inviting
Like a lover, waiting.

In the still of the night
I feel your body breathing.
Safe and content
Like a lamb, waiting.

In the dark of the night
I smell your life flowing.
Seductive and sweet
Like dessert, waiting.

In the deep of the night
I taste your soul laughing.
Sinful and decadent
Like a lover, awakening.

I like this, it has a nice flow to it.
You have such amazing ideas, I believe every word you are saying, these words captivate me as I read each one. I love how at th begining of each stanza there is the word night, then the second and fourth line end in 'ing' that really stood out for me. It made this poem so so wonderful. i loved this!
