Brilliance

Brilliance

A Poem by Erik Crowder

A passionate fire
Burns within your eyes.
Like a window into the soul.
The gentleness,
The rough cut nature,
The love within your heart.
The world might never know a treasure
Such as you again.
I consider myself lucky.
To have made not only your acquaintance,
But to have witnessed your true beauty
Is a pleasure beyond compare.
For of all the stars in the sky,
None shine brighter then you.
