They    left    you    like    broken    red    clay,

Entombed    a - lone    your    body    lay,

  Your    mother    cried,    with    deep    dismay,

  Three    days,    no    hope,    hard - ly    a   ray,

I    think,    I’ll    check,    on    you    to - day,

  Sur " prised    I    find,     there’s    no    decay,

You make me wonder how you could get so many good lines, make it all end with "ay", and to top it all off, a very brilliant idea for a poem.
