A varaition on the Flood

A tear fell from Heaven
I looked up-you were crying
For me? For mankind? Who knows?
A tear fell and it made a lake
A lake where once my home stood
More tears fell and my fields were flooded
Your tears became a downpour and flooded the land
From the top of the highest peak I watched
Watched the raging waters cover the earth
I looked up and you stopped crying
The clouds parted and out came the sun
You looked down at me and I saw love there
You winked at me, a sly, knowing wink
Then you were gone
