I thought I had yours and I was ready to give you mine.

Maybe you thought it was too fast and you just needed time.

It's been years in the making

So why is my heart the only one that's breaking?

It's not fair...I loved you.

More than I ever loved anyone

But I guess to you seeing me hurt was nothing but fun.

I can't even stand to hear your name anymore

Or the way you told me you loved me that night outside your door.

The pain you caused me will always linger

But I guess it's not far for me to point the finger.

It's not like you meant to hurt me

And I can't blame you for your personal feelings.

What hurts the most is that I gave you my heart

You never stole the key.

I'm the one to blame because I gave you too much
