How you changed my perception

This is a true piece of writing, of my personal experience with love.

Before I met you, I saw nothing but hues of blue and grey. Life didn't seem to have much of a purpose. Wake up, go to school, come home, sleep. Every day was the same repeated schedule. My life had no excitement except for the occasional things life would throw at me. 

When I met you, my mind blossomed flowers so vast and so colorful my spectrum went from hues of blues and grays to an arc of prismatic colors, exploding off the pallet. The blood that ran in my veins suddenly seemed warmer, and everything that happened around me seemed to be more astounding than before. I can now find meaning in everything that once seemed so pointless. You came into my life and showed me how beautiful everything around me really is, and for that I could never be more thankful.
