Tonight, I see a vague image Of our, once, delirious bliss; A timeless moment inwhich to judge The crime of a false kiss; In the Book, we were warned Not to indulge in scattered lust Nor to pick the ruby adorned, Covering the evil and dishonest; Now, I clearly see you, yesterday, A lying and disfigured jewel; I am glad you cast me away, But I remain the memory of a fool.
