The World's Best CookA Poem by Christina May ShanabergI love to eat my own food!THE WORLD'S BEST COOK
I am the world's best cook And I didn't learn from any book; I watched Mom, as a kid, And cooked, mostly, what she did; Then, I learned to experiment; Burning food is an excellent way to vent; My main ingredients are this and that, Which I shovel in; what's a scant; I heap a pile of something that smells So good that you will forget your ills; I think that spice is nice; Did I add it; let's add it, twice; I like to fix food in a big, boiling pot And boil it down to the consistancy of snot; Whatever the food has become, MMM, MMM, you are sure to hum; It's not the food you love, you see, It's me!
