SEE HERE

This is a poem about construction of a poem rather than a "it just came into my head fully-formed" experience though those are usually the most successful poems that I write.

SEE HERE

It will be quite some time coming

but technology is being worked on

even now to invent a thought-transfer

piece of kit for us as comfortable as

headphones so that this inspiration

pops up on the page plain but elegant

as pearls to make our heart grin glad.

I like the idea behind this one. Definitely a feeling I share when trying to write. Easier to write with pen and paper perhaps but slower? Flows well but last three words seem slightly wrong, forced, uncomfortable. Perhaps something that sounds more fluid?

Prompted me to re-read The Thought Fox by Ted Hughes.

I try to achieve intensity in each word as well as intensity of observation.

I'm learning that whatever someone is projecting is exactly what they are.
It is your kindness in saying so, that seems to pour out in emanation from you.
It is warmly received and so healing to receive. Thank You !
I am having the worst time of that diabetes myself right now. My little numbers box won't even speak in numbers anymore, it Just greets me with HI so it is 500 or higher.
It's getting hard to see or think anymore and the tiredness, draining feeling goes into shutdown mode on exertion.
I have been using this site as a connection to the world and keeps me busy when I'm too exhausted to do anything else. You'll see that in my scramble writings compared to my serious song stuff. The Jeckal and Hyde in me.
I guess you'll be doing the same :-)
Hang in there my Friend, I am working on putting up a green house and have been busy buying every plant and seed I can that will help us.
I have seen the wonders others have had with just burdock seeds alone.
Like me, they refused pharma meds. They succeeded for many years.
Baking soda water is a must. and Apple Cider Vinegar.

I have some serious thoughts about observation and some science about that,if you should care to converse sometime. If so send me an email and we can trade thoughts when the muse doesn't need us first :-)

LO L get the idea? Sweet- Blood double meaning . could be taken as talking about a lover that won't let go and trys to control? but were talking here about high sugar..

:-) It would be fun to see this carried out. Give it a whirl if you feel it.....

Oh, good - I never want the poems to be overloaded with language tricks, but love alliteration especially, one of the first things I learned about shaping language instead of always reverting to rhyme which feels too artificial.
