Distant Stars

Distant Stars

A Poem by Chromophobik

Is it really over?

Do we faint away?

Dancing to your rhythm

Do we fade away?

Curtain calling constantly

Cursing coincidences consciously

Failed out of my wits, lovingly

Swayed by your loving whips, viciously

How do I tell you?

Every time I held you

I was compelled to

Just f*****g melt too

Like your skin on my lips

Euphoric in sin with every kiss

Touching each other out of our bodies

Love so pure, yet no place for bliss

Shards of memories scraping the mind

Believed what I saw, my eyes wouldn’t lie

Twisted tales told through tragedies

Winter to fall, no light in the sky
