We are the seasons, the eclipse, the circle of life

We are a memory, a glimpse, at the edge of a knife

 

We are we no more, a story locked behind the door

You left at mortal's gate, I stayed with broken fate

 

Death is the end, the start, the journey of our being

Death is the torture,the salvation, the loss of meaning

Life is the gift, the scar, the divine mark

Life is the lesson, the conviction, the short-lived spark
