A Hope Less Concerned

A Hope Less Concerned

A Poem by Chrys

I'm broken
I cannot be fixed
I'm missing
But I won't be missed

Still shaking, quaking,
From what I fear
I can't let you in
So don't come near

I guess they're  right
I'm worn too thin
I'm fighting a battle
I cannot win

There's so many flaws
Don't know where to start
From my fucked up mind
To my fucked up heart

So what's the point
To continue to fight?
When restless days
Become restless nights

Life never is fair
I can finally tell
That the sorrow is lasting
A genuine, living hell

Was I born just to die?
Am I part of a plan?
Made this way now to see,
I won't die an old man?

Oblivious to life
Have nothing to gain
Inside I am pleading
To destroy all the pain
