Its Funny...

Another one of my very few rhyming poems...

Its funny how hello

Is always accomapnied by goodbye,

 

It's funny how good memories

Can start to make you cry,

 

Its funny how forever

Seems to never last,

 

Its funny how much you lose

When you forget your past,

 

Its funny how 'Friends'

Can leave you when you're down,

 

Its funny when you need someone

They aren't ever around,

 

Its funny how people can change

And think they are so much better,

 

Its funny how many lies

Can fit into one 'love letter'

 

Its funny how people can forgive

When they cannot forget,

 

Its funny how one night

Can hold so much regret,

 

Its funny how ironic life can be

 

But the funniest part of it is

 

That none of its funny to me

This poem is really great.. awesome flow and filled with so much truth!!! The irony in the simple message you write is sooo brutal.. love the ending too and which I can certainly relate to!

All that you say is truth here... however I still find the light at the end of the day even when the funniest part is not funny to me.. through my family, beliefs and sooo many other precious things that surround me!!! Thank you for sharing.. this one's going to favorites!!! =)
