This Lullaby Version One

A poem i wrote late last night it has two versions this is the first. Tell me which you like better. Not quite done with the second version I'll post it when i am.

               This Lullaby

 

This Lullaby i write for you because I love you like so few

With shaky hands I write these words because in turn I get a rush

If only you knew I write for you then maybe we could finally be

Instead i write these words of love with feelings that push and shove

Hoping someday that you will hear

And for once i will not fear

I know that in some places the rhyming is a litte off but if you have any suggestion for that please let me know

Pretty romantic, and when writing free verse, don't worry too much about flow. Poetry is about getting your ideas onto paper. Nice job.
